Build
Pick the game, seats, stacks and bet sizes and the Tree Wizard hands you a tree. Write a sizing rule once — RFI, 3BETISO, FLOP.CBET.3BP, sizes like 3x+1bb — save it as a preset and apply it to a street or the whole tree. Paste ranges from PPT, Pio, GTO+, CSV or plain text. Size tells you the RAM before you press Start.

Solve
Exploitability, convergence and every seat’s EV sit across the top the whole run. Auto stops on an accuracy target, a drift figure or a clock, per solve, so each board in a batch finishes on its own. Batch Sims runs 25, 100 or all 1,755 flops — on one machine, or several sharing a folder.

Study
Read mix, EV and combos as a chart or a sortable list. Lock what a seat does and the solver works around it; then Best Response attacks the table and ranks the leaks, each one a click from its spot. Start a flop, turn or river sim from any node without exporting anything. Then drill it in the Trainer.
RAM decides what you can solve.
Cores decide how fast a solve finishes. Memory decides whether it starts at all — more players, deeper stacks and more hole cards each cost more of it.

Which poker games can HydraSolver solve?
No-Limit and Limit Hold’em, Short Deck, 4-, 5- and 6-card PLO, and hi-lo — Big O and Omaha 8 or Better — at two to nine seats, including multiway postflop. On top of those: bomb pots, double boards, Stand Up (Nit) and Squid, and tournaments with ICM, progressive, fixed and mystery bounties.
Does it run on Mac or Linux?
No. HydraSolver is a Windows desktop application: Windows 11, or Server 2022 and newer, 64-bit. HydraViewer is a browser page and runs on anything, including a phone. If you do not have a Windows machine big enough, hydrasolver.com rents one with the app already installed.
How much RAM does a poker solver need?
32 GB is the minimum, and runs heads-up Hold’em and PLO. 128 GB is comfortable for 5-max Hold’em and four-card PLO. Six-card PLO and deep multiway trees want 512 GB or more. Cores only change how long it takes. Build’s Size button gives the real figure for your tree before you press Start.
Is there a 6-card PLO solver?
Yes, this one. Four-, five- and six-card Omaha run on the same engine, hi and hi-lo, so a six-card tree is built, solved and read exactly like a four-card one. Six-card work wants a large machine — see the memory table above.
What is the difference between HydraSolver and HydraViewer?
HydraSolver builds and solves trees on your own machine, and needs a licence. HydraViewer reads a finished solve in a browser, and is free. Export a street from the solver as a .hdv file and open it in the viewer on any device.
Can I buy a finished solve instead of running one?
Yes, two ways. The HDS Shop sells finished preflop solves that open in HydraSolver and can be built on — those need a licence, and a lapsed one still opens them. HydraViewer packs are .hdv files you read in the browser with no licence at all.
Can two computers work on one solve?
On a board batch, yes. Point them at one shared folder and each takes boards from the same manifest. A single solve runs on one machine.
Do my hands leave my computer?
No. The solver runs on your hardware and works offline. The viewer opens files in the browser. There is no server to send them to.
What happens when the licence year ends?
The solver becomes read-only. Existing solves still open, browse, train and export. You cannot start a new solve until you renew.
Is there a free trial?
No. To study solved spots without paying, open a free HydraViewer pack in your browser.
Are the applications in English?
Yes. HydraSolver and HydraViewer are English-only, and so is the software’s Help Center. Other language hosts of this page exist so you can read what they do first; the applications themselves do not change.
